He served for years as a member of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates. He is the Executive Director of the Watani Al Emarat Foundation, one of the leading public policy institutes in the GCC.

For almost a decade, he has been the Editor-in-Chief of CTC Sentinel, the flagship publication of the Combating Terrorism Center at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Previously, as CNN’s Terrorism Analyst for over a decade, Cruickshank played a central role in the network’s coverage and reporting on al-Qaeda and ISIS terrorism.

His work on the subject includes two books, several documentaries and numerous writings.

 

He currently also serves as the Chief Executive of Cruickshank & Dean Global Intelligence, a senior advisor at EMIR, and an Executive Director at Thouwd Risk Management.

He is a globally renowned international security, geopolitical risk, and business intelligence consultant, as well as being one of the world's leading Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT) experts. He previously played a key role in the global campaign against terrorism for the British Secret Intelligence Service (MI6).

He is leading figure in the Global Print & Packaging industry. Ranesh has been recognized as one of the most influential Packaging Industry thought leader several times by various Industry associations like ASPA, LMAI,and IPAMA. He has a special emphasis on Brand Protection, Security printing, Labels, and Packaging.

Ranesh has performed a lead role in completing many turn-key projects & addressing key issues in high volume printing & packaging  for various Government Agencies, Development banks, Pharmaceutical, Banking, retail & Security packaging companies.

He has over 30+ years broad general management experience in the Automotive industry across Europe and Asia.
 

Based out of Ford UK, in a key assignment, he served as CXO of Ford India, doubling the size of the operation by adding 400k capacity manufacturing in a greenfield plant in Gujarat.
 

 

In his last role he was Finance Director for Ford’s European Sales and Marketing, with $30 Billion top line responsibility.
